The opening round of the MSA British Rally Championship starts with reconnaissance on Friday 17th March, with scutineering also taking place that afternoon.  Saturday sees crews tackle 45 competitive miles in the Tweed Valley Forest complex after they have started the event with two runs over a newly announced Friday night stage.

Service is at Newtown, St Boswells.

Entries open 1st February 2017.

Friday 17th March

Scrutineering; Glebe Car Park near Jedburgh Abbey, easy access.

Nat A/BRC from 11.00 – 13.00, Nat B from 14.00

BRC crews autograph session and cars on display in Abbey Place at Rally HQ, Jedburgh Town Hall, from 18.00

Leg 1 start, Rally HQ, 19.00

Forest Enterprise have agreed access to the following stages, the car parks will be run by local organisations and full details will be given nearer the event. There are no facilities for spectators at the other stages, please stick to these locations.

SS1 & 2 Craik, access to mid stage junction, first car starts 19.51 on Friday evening, the stage is used twice and SS2 will run as soon as possible after SS1 is clear, provisionally at 20.47.

Saturday 18th March

BRC and Nat B event merge to start at rally HQ in Jedburgh, first car leaves 08.30.

SS3 Wauchope, spectator parking on forest road off B6357, ‘Note o’ the Gate’.

This gives access to a choice of 2 mid stage junctions, first car 09.14.

SS5 & 8 Elibank, access to excellent viewing area at West Bold which will be signposted from A72 at Walkerburn.

Parking on forest road, toilets and catering available.

The area is used twice with first car scheduled on SS5 at 11.40 and SS8 at 14.45.

Rally finish, pipe band and podium ceremonies in Jedburgh from 16.01

Programmes will be available locally and from the website in the lead up to the event.

The rally is also the second round of the ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship
