Nabila takes the covers off new Peugeot 208 R2

2017 Cadet Cup podium finisher Nabila Tejpar opened the 2018 BRC activities at the Autosport International Show earlier today (Thursday 11 January) by unveiling her new Peugeot 208 R2 this morning.

The 2017 Ladies Trophy winner will be partnered by last seasons’ Cadet Cup Champion co-driver Richard Bliss in the French machine, and the English pairing are the first crew to signal their BRC intent for the year ahead.

After two seasons in her Ford Fiesta R2, Tejpar is set to step-up to the Junior BRC contesting the year in a new car.

“I am delighted to pull the covers off my new car and announce my step-up to the Junior BRC in 2018,” enthused Nabila. “I really enjoyed last year and felt my pace and confidence was improving with every stage on every event. The Peugeot felt like a natural progression and by joining the Junior BRC it will push me even further.

“The BRC will form a part of our 2018 plans as we are working on a full schedule which we will be able to reveal in the near future. I have already driven the car and felt like it clicked straight away and feel very comfortable with it and I hope to get in a few events and tests before the first round in Scotland.”
