The top three finishers at the end of the season in the BRC1 category, driving Ford Fiesta R5 cars, will be invited to join the M-Sport World Rally Team at the pre-event test for Dayinsure Wales Rally GB this October. Rally GB will be the first time that the exciting 2017 World Rally Cars will be seen in competition in the UK and the pre-event test is crucial to ensure the correct set up for the fast, technical Welsh forest stages.
Thanks to the kind gesture from M-Sport, the three guests will get to see just what goes into the preparation for a World Championship event. Four-time World Champion Sebastien Ogier, WRC event winner, Ott Tanak and 2016 BRC Champion Elfyn Evans will all be in attendance over the course of the test as they perfect their machines for the 27 – 29 October event.
To bring an end to this behind-the-scenes day, one of the BRC three will get a passenger ride alongside one of the M-Sport World Rally team pilots on the test stage in the 2017 Ford Fiesta WRC.
Currently Osian Pryce, Matt Edwards and Keith Cronin top the Fiesta R5 standings but with 75 points still on offer – everything is still to play for.
