FIA R5, S2000, RRC, Group R4 (VR4). Within the BRC 2016 we had representation from every R5 car that was currently homologated: Citroen DS3 R5, Ford Fiesta R5, Peugeot 208 T16 R5, Skoda Fabia R5 as well as the Proton Satria S2000.
For 2017 Hyundai have their new i20 R5 available and it will be exciting to hopefully see that car on UK shores.
An R5 car is a four-wheel drive, 1.6 turbo-charged beast that has been developed from its more powerful WRC cousin. BRC1 is the class where the overall championship winners are expected to come from.Download technical regulations
